Built by someone who understands

Kith & Kin was founded by Akshat Sharma — a Project Manager who spent years in London managing high-accountability programmes for major brands and government clients. He returned to India with his family and a clear purpose: to build the elder support service he wished had existed when he was abroad.

What makes this service different is not a technology platform or a large team. It is a founder who brings professional rigour, structured reporting, and genuine empathy to every client relationship. The founder conducts every onboarding visit personally, makes a monthly check-in with every client, and oversees all associates and reports.

We deliberately keep our client circle small — so that attention is never diluted, and every family feels genuinely known.

Introduction Call

We begin with a call between you, the founder, and ideally your parent. We discuss health context, daily routines, specific needs, and agree a care plan.

Onboarding Visit

The founder conducts the first visit personally — meeting your parents, surveying the home environment, and establishing trust before regular visits begin.

Regular Visits

Scheduled visits take place according to your chosen plan. Each visit follows a structured protocol — vitals, medication, errands, and companionship.

Family Updates

On the same day as every visit, your family WhatsApp group receives a structured report — vitals, observations, issues flagged, and next steps.

Who Visits

Who exactly will be visiting my parents?

Visits are carried out by trained, verified associates supervised by the founder. The founder personally conducts every onboarding visit and makes a monthly in-person check-in with every client. You always have someone accountable, by name.

Trust & Vetting

How do I know the person visiting is trustworthy?

Every associate undergoes police verification and structured elder-care training before meeting any client. The founder's background and references are available on request. The very first visit to your parents is always conducted by the founder personally.

Updates

How will I know what happened during each visit?

On the same day as every visit, your family WhatsApp group receives a structured report: vitals, medication check, mood observations, and any issues flagged. Signature and Premiere members also receive a message if anything notable happens between visits.

Medical Care

Do you provide medical treatment or nursing?

No. We offer structured non-medical monitoring — vital tracking, medication verification, and early-warning flagging. Think of us as a highly organised, accountable family friend. For medical needs we coordinate with your family's doctors.

Medical Escorts

What if my parent needs frequent doctor visits?

The Premiere plan includes 2 medical escorts per month. If your parent needs additional doctor visits in a given month, extra escorts are available as an add-on and billed separately — always with your prior agreement. We never turn away a family in a genuine health situation.

Getting Started

How quickly can we start? Is there a contract?

Onboarding takes 5–7 days from your first enquiry — covering the family call, care plan, and introductory visit. There is no long-term contract. All plans are month-to-month. Cancel with 30 days' written notice. Trust, not paperwork, keeps families with us.
